I wonder… – A Poem

I sometimes wonder
If you see something
That reminds you of me
The way some of the things
Around me
Remind me of you.

Like when you see
A Harry Potter reference
Do I come to your mind?

Or when you hear
My favorite song,
Am I linked to it
In your head?

I wonder if the things around you
Remind you of our conversations
And our occasional fights

I also wonder if you,
From time to time,
Compare me to others.

And if you smile
When I cross your mind.
